Before installing your tnt adapter it helps to understand the basic shape of a treble hook. Made up of three hooks welded at equidistant angles.

When two hook shafts are welded together, they create a small flat surface. The third hook welded opposite of the two when welded creates a small ridge. Giving the treble hooks shank a rounded triangular shape. This is where the TNT 's install slit is placed and snapped in. An easier way to identify this install hook is by the hooks point. The install hook point is ALWAYS facing directly to the hooks eye.

Make sure TNT adapter has install slit lined up with the hooks point facing the trebles eye, otherwise you may not be able to insert adapter or it may not sit correctly. You may use a firm and slow push. No over-exhertion to avoid slippage and poking your finger.
